Duties of a Club Registrar
Congratulations, you have been named your club’s registrar. You are the lifeblood of the program administration. Depending on your association, your duties can range from record keeping, player commitment forms, collecting data, birth certificates, code of conduct, consent to treat form completion, creating rosters, updating roster changes, monitoring SafeSport training, coaching education program, module completion and screening. As a club registrar you will need to work closely with the association board, membership and teams. The Registrar will create and maintain an active membership list and ensure that all the requirements of the NY District and USAH are adhered to by all the members and the Association. The Registrar shall be responsible to complete and submit all required documents and informational reports as required to the NY District and USA Hockey on screening, SafeSport and cross-ice ADM development.
